Summer Programs Open House takes place on March 23. Includes Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, and an introductory overview of the 2024 Summer Programs.

Join us from July 1 – August 16 for Educational Games, Bowling, Mini-Golfing, Laser Tag, and so much more.

The After School Program is a structured program that provides activities and support for children after the regular school day ends. We provide students with benefits including:

• A Learning Focused Environment: After a busy day at school, students need a space where they can continue to grow.
• Improved Confidence & Self-Esteem: The After School Program can help students to develop confidence and self-esteem by providing them with opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, and succeed in a diverse social setting.
• Enhanced Physical Health & Fitness: We offer exercises that promote physical health and fitness, such as sports, games, and fitness classes.
• Enrichment Activities: We expose students to new experiences that they may not have the opportunity to participate in during the regular school day.

The 1-on-1 Tutoring Program is a personalized learning program that pairs a student with a tutor who provides individualized instruction and support.

Tutors can help provide students with:

• Personalized Instruction: Beneficial for students who are struggling in a particular subject or need extra help with a specific topic.
• Immediate Feedback: Tutors can provide students with instantaneous feedback on their work. This can help students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to improve quickly and efficiently.
• Boost in Confidence: Students receive individualized attention and support from a tutor who is committed to their success are proven to be more confident and motivated.
• Accelerated Academic Performance: Studies have shown that students who participate in 1-on-1 tutoring tend to perform better academically than students who do not receive tutoring.

The ELA, Writing, and Math Enrichment Program is designed to help students develop and improve their skills in English Language Arts (ELA), Writing, and Mathematics.

Students receive supplementary practice materials and guidance. There are a variety of activities and benefits to participating in an ELA, Writing, and Math Enrichment Program, including:

The New York State Exam Preparation Program is a comprehensive program designed to help students prepare for and succeed on a variety of state-mandated exams, including:

• Common Core
• High School Equivalency (HSE) Exams
• Regents Exams
• AP Exams
• Other State-Approved Assessments

SHSAT and SAT Preparation Program

The SHSAT, TACHS, and SAT Preparation Program is designed to provide students with the guidance they need to achieve the top High School and College admissions of their dreams.

The SHSAT and SAT Preparation Program offers a number of benefits to students, including:

• Increased knowledge and understanding of the SHSAT and SAT content
• Efficient test-taking and time management strategies
• Ability to handle pressure and maintain confidence
• A better chance at achieving outstanding scores

The ESL & ELL Program aids non-native English speakers develop proficiency in the English language.

We aim to provide:

The Chinese Learning Program provides students with the opportunity to speak, listen, read, and write Chinese.

The After School Chess Club Program stimulates the young minds of students by letting them learn and play chess with their fellow peers.

Chess can be beneficial and fun by providing:

• Enhanced Critical Thinking Skills: Chess is a game that requires critical thinking skills such as planning, thinking ahead, and decision-making. By playing chess, students can develop these skills in a fun and engaging way which translates into improved academic performance.
• Sportsmanship & Integrity: Chess is a mentally challenging and competitive game, but it is also a game that teaches sportsmanship. Chess players learn how to win with grace and lose with dignity.
• Intelligent Social Atmosphere: The After School Chess Club provides students with an intellectually stimulating atmosphere to socialize and make friends.

The After School STEM Club is a program that provides students with the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Robotics, and Mathematics (STEM) topics in a fun and engaging way.

Students will gain:

• Technical Skills: Obtain hands-on experience that will help learn and develop essential STEM skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, research, and teamwork.
• Exposure to STEM Careers: Students will experience a variety of STEM fields. They will also observe real-world applications of STEM concepts.
• Preparation for College & Beyond: Get a jump-start on potential STEM pathways and degree programs in college. STEM careers are in-demand and rapidly growing within the global job market.

The After School Art Club provides students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their artistic capabilities.

We are open to students of all skill levels and offer a variety of activities, including:
